ReplyDeleteWow great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift was two fabric printing blocks from India ca. 6 x 6 inches big that I can use either with fabric paint or paintstiks!
What a great goodie to give away! I didn't get anything crafty for Christmas but my favorite gift by far was the Kindle that my hubby got me. I absolutely LOVE it! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift this year is the calendar my sister made with photos of my oldest daughters wedding weekend. Thank you for this great give-away. Take care and God bless, Cory
ReplyDeleteI gave mother/daughter and grandma/granddaughter apron set to my Mother-in-Law, Sister-in-Law and niece (who is 2) for Christmas. Handmade by a friend of mine, it was awesome to see both my MIL and my niece immediately put theirs on and wear them around the house just randomly for a few hours while we celebrated Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThis line is so pretty! Bright and happy - just what we need :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite gift was a Christmas vacation we took this year instead of giving presents. We moved cross country this summer and have always wanted to see the mountains of the West - and we did!! It was gorgeous and we created unbelievable memories. I liked this so much better than opening gifts!!
I gave my husband a handpieced quilt made from felted (fulled) sweaters and backed with a supersoft blanket.

This Christmas my husband blessed me with a lovely new state of the art serger. My one and only other serger was purchased in May 1993 and was groaning!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLOVE those Kaufman fabrics ... I have just the project in mind if I was the lucky winner!
The fabrics are amazing, I know just what I'd do with them if I won them!
ReplyDeleteThe gift I am the most excited about giving this year was a handwoven scarf to my mother. I taught myself to weave this year and made one especially for her on my rigid heddle loom. She loved it and it will keep her warm during the year to come throughout all of her cancer treatments.
My husband surprised us with a new blu-ray player that streams Netflix. Now I'm sucked into watching SpongeBob on Netflix!
ReplyDeleteThe gift I was most excited to give was a set of paper dolls that my grandma drew when she was a young woman - I scanned them and printed them out and then laminated them to magnetic backing and cut them out painstakingly - there are 18 in the set and I managed to get one finished for my sister and one for my mom. I still have 2 sets waiting to be cut (one for me of course!)
ReplyDeleteMy mom gave me a set of new feet for my sewing machine, including a walking foot, a 1/4" foot, and a darning foot for FMQ. woot!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift(s!) to give were the bags I made for each of my 4 younger sisters. They're all fashionistas (with terrible shopping habits) so I wasn't sure if they'd really appreciate the handmade items. I tried to make each gift personal to each girl, taking into account their lifestyle and habits. I used everything from dino prints, to fur, and to lace, and luckily they LOVED them!
