ISSUE 2 - ON SALE TODAY!

Issue 2 is now on sale!

What's in store in Issue #2? Here's what you can expect:
  • Ten original project patterns -- including seven all-new quilt patterns, two fabulous pillow patterns, and a pattern for a placemat.

  • Interviews with fabric designers Jennifer Paganelli and Valori Wells, dishing about their new & upcoming lines.

  • Interviews with new authors and a chance to win their books.

  • A review of EQ7 with a chance to win a copy for yourself.

And much, much more.

There are two ways to purchase Fat Quarterly. The first (and easiest) way to purchase an issue for yourself is to simply visit the "Buy" section of our site.

If you are interested in buying an issue or subscription as a gift for someone else, visit our Etsy shop and complete your purchase over there.

For our current subscribers, your download link will be sent to you automatically. If you have not received your link by the end of today, please let us know.

We hope you enjoy our second issue. And, of course, we want to hear what you think. Please comment here on the blog, give us a shout on Twitter, or email us at customerservice@fatquarterly.com.

Happy sewing!

  1. I'd like to make a string quilt with a variety of fat quarters. Thanks for the opportunity to win this great selection of fabrics!

  2. Woo, another great issue! I've finished my first-skim, will settle in with it later (dumb ole dayjob!) and really enjoy it. Thank you! I have visions of elephants and daisies and John's I-keep-thinking-of-them-as-chocolate-bars....

  3. The new issue is just great.
I like the Scraps topic, I have boxes and bags- but do I have scraps enough for all the goodies in this issue? Elephant on parade is my favourite.

  6. I finally figured out a round-about way to get the first issue on my iPad. First to my desktop and then to my iPad so I can have a portable copy. Sure hope you guys can figure out a way to downlaod directly to iPad. It would be much easier! I'm enjoying Issue #1 (finally!) and want to subscribe once you get the bugs worked out. It's really a great e-mag! Even my husband was impressed with the quality and content. I'm looking forward to more!

  7. WOW! The second issue is fabulous, and what a great theme! I'm a thrower away of scraps, since I'm so overloaded with fabric. My daughter (Lily Lemon on Flickr) has started grabbing them as fast as I throw them away and making lots of cute little things. Issue #2 will also increase my awareness of the possibilities, and maybe I'll start saving these little treasures!

  8. Issue 2 is a winner! I've already browsed through it one time, need to settle down and read it thoroughly next. I would love to see a large photo of the quilt "Elephants on Parade" if possible. It is a beauty! The scraps theme is popular right now, and you did a great job with it. Love the "Poodle" fabric collection - one of the prints has my name (Maeve) - the roses design - named after Jennifer's goddaughter. (I asked!) I am now a subscriber to the emag! Great job!!!!

  10. I love this issue! The first issue was pretty good, but this issue is outstanding. I wasn't sure I'd try another issue, but I'm so glad I did! Usually when I try out a new magazine I like to buy the first 3 or 4 issues to really get a feel for it and then I can decide if it's one I'll subscribe to or not. I'm enjoying issue 2, and after scanning through it I'm now reading each and every word. Thanks for the great idea. I hope it really takes off!
