The fabric line is "Groove" by Caleb Gray (which is drool-worthy and we absolutely LOVE), and you can see all of the prints from the line here.
Want to be one of our 3 lucky winners? Simply leave a comment on this post and tell us who your final quilt along quilt will be for. Will you be gifting it to a loved one, or keeping it all for yourself? And what fabrics will you be using (if you don't win the groovy "Groove", that is)?
Of course, we'd love it if you spread the word about our giveaway (blogs, Twitter, Facebook ... you know the drill).
We'll be selecting our winners next Wednesday, September 8th. Good luck, and happy quilting!

It's the first time I join a quilt along, so the quilt will be for me! Thanks for the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteHugz
i will be making a quilt for my son Jayden who is moving into his own bed soon.
ReplyDeleteOOhh love those fabrics!! I'm just going to sew along and if I get the feeling that it's meant for someone I'll give it away. I'm planning on a very scrappy colourful quilt.
ReplyDeleteI think a quilt for my daughter's 5th birthday would be in order!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this quilt will probably be for me. I haven't made anything for me yet! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am making it for my sweet little daughter. Her first birthday is in October. I have one jelly roll called Vintage I am planning on using. I'd love to win though!
ReplyDeleteA quilt always starts out as mine...until it's real owner comes along.
ReplyDeleteI would love to say the finished quilt would be for me, but, knowing me, it will go to one of my family members. I really like to share my quilts with others, that's why I love quilting so much. Out of 20+ quilts I've made, I have kept three.
ReplyDeletep.s. hope I win, I can see a really cool quilt out of that fabric
My quilt along will be for me in part (love, love, love designing and making my new creations!!) but mainly for my friends and family who travel interstate to spend time with us in our home. The quilt will live in our guest bedroom. Thx for the chance ;)
ReplyDeleteI will probably give mine away, but don't have a recipient in mind yet. Once you start quilting it turns out you have a lot of relatives, LOL! I'm going to make mine scrappy, with lots of different batiks. I've also been thinking it would be neat to use a single solid color and alternate solid center and solid border blocks.
ReplyDeleteThis fabric is so fun and funky - I would love to make this quilt for my sister for Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWould love a chance at winning the fabric and would join in the quiltalong. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI will be keeping my quilt along for myself. I am thinking of using my roll of Authentic!
ReplyDeleteOoh, lovely. My aunt really loves Christmas stuff and she would appreciate a yummy Christmassy quilt, especially if someone else made it ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow, what fun fabric. I am going back and forth about joining, mostly because I have a lot of my quilting plate at the moment. But oh I am tempted. Not sure who I would give it to, but someone always seems to pop up right as I finish it up :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the colors. I will be making several quilts as Christmas presents and one for a new baby boy in the family arriving any day now! Using some Fandango charm packs and jelly rolls as well as The new Seuss! Can't wait for it to arrive!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a quilt for my best friend who is turning 50 this year.

Great fabric and what a fun giveaway! I'd love to make the quilt along quilt for one of our local charities which is a family shelter that keeps families together in their time of need. A very worthy cause these days!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!

ReplyDeletenaomemandeflores@gmail.com
I would be sewing for my mother for her 60th birthday late this fall!
ReplyDeleteIf I won this then it would probably take the place of the Spring Fever one I was going to do for myself but will probably be stolen by my sister or best friend! In English speak that fabric is dead groovy. Best said in a Liverpool accent - at least then you sound somewhat like a Beatle!
ReplyDeletehmmmmmm.... this quilt along just got even more delicious.
ReplyDeletei'm thinking about joining in to make a quilt for our baby boy due in december. :)
I think I would have to make the quilt for myself until the need to give one away comes along. Maybe one of my sisters will get married!
ReplyDeleteOooh, definitely prompting me to check this out!! Love a good quilt along and love some gorgeous fabric!
ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to this quilt-along! I am planning on making this quilt for my aunt for Christmas. (She loves quilts and she's quite possibly the sweetest woman on the planet!) If I do not win the fabulous "Groove" roll-up I will probably just buy one for myself! I love those prints!
ReplyDeleteMy quilt along project will be for my mother's 80th birthday - she is my "quilting" teacher. Need to win these jelly rolls or cannot join the quiltalong - I've overspent my fabric budget. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first quilt-along so I'll definitely be keeping this one for my family! I'd LOVE to use this incredible Robert Kaufman fabric for my quilt if I win but if I don't, I'll be using a Moda roll (I'm still undecided on which one)! Thanks for the chance to win such gorgeous fabric! My fingers are crossed!
ReplyDeleteI'll do this quilt along with the Grove that will be sent to me. I want to make at least three but maybe six quilts for departing gifts. This one would be a good to include.
ReplyDeleteI love the new fabric line!
ReplyDeletehow fun! I usually just start sewing and then decide who the recipient should be after the fact!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous prints! I'd love to make a quilt for the daughter of a friend of mine. She would LOVE the Groove fabrics. If not, then I'll probably pick up some purples and greens.
ReplyDeleteHooray! Love this line. I'll be making a quilt for my toddler, who is at this really fantastic age where everything mommy creates with fabric is 'glamorous' or 'amazing!' Can't get much better than that! :)
ReplyDeletesimplygeometric@hotmail.com
those fabrics look fabulous. I'd like to keep a quilt for me this time!
ReplyDeleteThis fabric roll up would push me to enter the quilt along. I am trying to make a quilt for each of my nieces and nephew's birthdays this year
ReplyDelete(4 nieces + 2 nephews + 6 quilts)
I have one completed and one in the works for October birthdays. I could use this for my February birthday niece, bella
Beautifully coloured fabric and a great give-away! This will also be my first quiltalong and so it will stay at home, our home. All the other quilts have homes far from where they were conceived and born.
ReplyDeleteI will make a quilt for my daughter who will be going to college next September. If I don't win I'll use Martinique.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic giveaway! Love those fabrics and colors. :)
ReplyDeleteWow cute fabrics! My quilt from the quiltalong will be for one of the two good friends who have their birthdays in fall.
ReplyDeleteWell and maybe... maybe I keep it all by myself.
If I don´t win the jelly roll I think I will use some either hope valley from Denyse Schmidt or some fabric wich I choose aut of my quilt fabrics...
Miriam
Gimme...Gimme...Gimme!
ReplyDeleteStefanie
I Would so totally use this for the quilt a long-What a perfect way to get started on my first quilt ever. I'd give it to my daughter for her 6th bday. She just peeped over my shoulder and approved of the prints.
ReplyDeletedarci
I will be making a baby quilt for this quilt a long. The bright colors of this fabric will go great with the little animal cut outs I have started!
ReplyDeleteI'm making a quilt for my son who has just moved across the country to "make it" in L.A.
ReplyDeleteEven though this is my second quilt along, this quilt is still going to be for me! I always have a hard time giving any away, I love them just too much! Unless this roll is won by yours truly, I will be using some fabric found on ConnectingThreads.com, some great colors, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteAlways,
Katy
Ohhh I love this fabric and will definitely buy some even if I don't win. I'd love to do the quiltalong -- just didn't want to purchase any more fabric right now. If I do win, I will probably give the quilt to my step-daughter if I can get it done for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love quilt alongs although 1 week for piecing is a bit much for me. I would love one of those GROOVY jellyrolls for the project. I make alot of charity quilts so this one will go to some needy person.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do the quilt along. I'll be using Origins unless I win some Groove! This quilt will be for my sister. Her dorm room is always freezing in the winter.
ReplyDeleteFun fabric. I've never done a quilt along but this is a great motivator. I make baby quilts and give them away. nanasew at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI still haven't picked my fabric. I am thinking of making this quilt as a christmas present for someone in my family, not sure who yet. If I win Groove it may be made for my daughter. Decisions are always hard!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! And pretty fabric! I think my final quilt would be for my Mom! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a bright, beautiful print fabric, I can just imagine the possibilities of it. I would love to use it for my quilt along quilt which will be for a coworker's baby gift (planning to use Darlene's 30's reproduction fabric). Love your blog and eZine...Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun fabric! This will be my first attempt at a quilt-along. As a recent empty-nester, I am trying new things. I am making quilts for each of my nephews and nieces as they graduate. This fabric is shouting Kate!
ReplyDeleteThinking of making the quilt and giving it to the family we adopt at Christmas as part of their gift. Not sure what fabric I will use - maybe this one :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! I will join the quilt along if I'm really so lucky to win this! I'm hoping to make a quilt for my parents for the longest time. Just need a little motivation. Winning this will definitely help!^_^
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric! I have six little girls (none of them mine) who'd love something made out of this! This would definitely give me a jump start!
ReplyDeleteooo...a quiltalong *and* I could get a wedding gift done? Love it! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric. I am going to make my quilt for my daughter who is headed off to college. Thanks for the great giveaway and the quiltalong.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt will be part of Holidaypalooza 2010. I'm thinking I might dig into my Denyse Schmidt stash to work through it...
ReplyDeleteSince this will be my first quilt I will keep this one for myself. I was planning to use blue, red and white colours to give it an all american look. I would love to use this give away though!
ReplyDeletethanks for the generous giveaway. I'm doing this QAL for dear 4 yr old niece using fun Yuwa fabrics from japan
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to do a quilt-a-long for my mom and dad! Thanks for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks Robert Kaufman Fabrics!! I plan to do the quilt along for a Christmas gift to my 10-year-old neice. These fabrics would be PERFECT...but if I don't win, I have a jelly roll of Frolic by Moda that has been waiting for the right pattern. I think I'll use that.
ReplyDeleteThere's lots of new babies in my life so I might be gifting it to one of them but I would really love one for myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway opportunity! I would make my quilt for my daughter!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made a quilt from precut fabrics before. Winning these beautiful colors would give me the inspiration to quilt something cheery for my neighbor who recently lost her husband. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletei'm making the quilt for my mum's 60th birthday. she's the one who always makes sure that everyone has a gorgeous hand-made present so i thought i'd be nice to give her something hand-made for a change!
ReplyDeleteI'll be making a quilt for us to keep on the couch - its my first one so I'm not sure it will be gift ready! I plan on using Robert Kaufmans Sparkle All the Way!
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't win the groove I think I would finally use my blush jelly roll which I have been hanging onto and waiting for the perfect project! If I won the groove it would most likely end up being a gift for a family member!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd quilt for myself! :-) I love that fabric too much to give it away!
ReplyDeleteThinking it will be for me!
ReplyDeleteI'd make it for one of my daughters. Or maybe one for both of them:) Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletei'm thinking this will probably be going to a friend for her birthday later this year. given the amount of time it usually takes me to actually finish a quilt, starting (way) early for a december birthday present is probably a good idea. if i'm not lucky enough to win, i will be using assorted fabrics from my stash to make the quilt (i am, once again, on a fabric buying ban). thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm making my quilt-along for a couple of wonderful friends who have been very supportive for a long time ... Great fabric - thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm making this quilt-along quilt for my mom. She's my rock, and the go-to for my whole family. I'd really like to give her something special this year for Xmas. So this is a great opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI love it! i am making it for my son who just bought a house and needs quilts!!
ReplyDeletethanx!
Hey Dude, these are groovy fabrics. They've inspired me to make a quilt for my sister, as this is definitely her style. And I haven't made her a quilt in ages!
ReplyDeleteSewCalGal
www.sewcalgal.blogspot.com
I just don't know - if I won this I would keep it - otherwise I was thinking a solid bundle in blues....
ReplyDeleteI just saw the Groove line yesterday on the Robert Kaufman site!!! I want to make a quilt for the Grooviest of daughters (MINE!) who is all grown up and out in LA. I miss her so much and it would be like a permanent hug from me to wrap up in! I hope, I hope, I win :) If not I'll just have to buy the Groove jelly roll or the Charm pack cuz its just soooo like her.
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited about the quilt-along, as I've never participated in one. I plan to use Christmas fabrics (not yet purchased), so I can make a Christmas quilt for my mom. She loves holiday fabric, so that's the plan. I would definitely make my quilt out of the jellyroll if I win one because I've never bought/used a jellyroll before. I prewash all of my fabrics, so I've never purchased any smaller cuts, but it would be an exception should I use a jellyroll. And by the way, I was so excited when I first saw the Groove line because it's right up my alley! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking it would be a perfect baby shower gift for one of my pregnant friends. I really love to give hand-made quilts when I can, and if I can get the fabric for free that is even better!! (However, I still haven't ever made a quilt for my oldest sister, so I may have to add some blocks to it and give it to her.)
ReplyDeleteI think the colors are so bright, they would be perfect for a child's quilt that I would make for a Project Linus quilt. If I don't win Groove, I'd look for some fabric with an orange/blue combination that seems to be popular with kids these days. Kathie L in Allentown
ReplyDeleteooooo Pretty fabric. The colours are really blooming, love them.. I have my jelly roll ready for my first quilt-a-long, and my first quilt.
ReplyDeleteI would definately make myself a quilt with the fabric using the techniques I learned from making the first quilt, which I will be giving to my mum.
I love Groove! If I win the fabric, I'd totally have to make this quilt for my sister. She's very colorful and this totally suits her. If I don't win the fabric, I'll probably use Half Moon with a little bit of teal for a different sister of mine.
ReplyDeleteThis one will be all for me! And will be crafted from my vintage fabrics stash if I don't win these lovlies!
ReplyDeleteheatheranne99 at gmail dot com
I haven't decided yet who it will be for. I might make a quilt for my aunt.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely be making a quilt for my grandson Ayden. Something fun and colorful. The Kaufman fabrics would work beautifully.
ReplyDelete(the comment form hates me today, so my apologies if this posts many times)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking this will be a great holiday quilt for someone, although I'm not sure who yet.
I'll probably make the quilt for me. Still thinking about fabric choice though.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute fabric. I need a lap quilt in a major way. How perfect would that fabric be?
ReplyDeleteMost of my quilts go for some sort of charity, so I imagine this one will too.
ReplyDeleteUnless I just LOVE it myself. *S* Altho, I'm running out of room....:(
Fabulous roll-up. I will be using a Plume jelly roll, and I usually decide who to give a quilt to after I have started it. The quilt just "speaks" to me, and I suddenly know who it should be for or how it should be used.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a quilt for my grandma. She does a lot of hand pieced quilts and gives them away. I would love to give her something beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am making a quilt for my friend to gift to her daughter in law and son who just have had a baby.
ReplyDeleteI love Robert Kaufman Fabrics!!! If I win, I am making this quilt for me, yes for mom. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteThe quilt I have planned is a surprise quilt for my sister's 50th birthday using moda botany. She normally relies on using a duvet to keep warm on the sofa while watching tv so this has to be a major improvement! The Robert Kaufman jelly roll could then be one for me as I always end up making for other people and never myself- A Christmas present from me to me perhaps!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric line. I think a Christmas present quilt would be great!
ReplyDeleteGrove looks so cool. I've never done a quilt-along before, but I might give it a whirl. Maybe get something started as a Christmas present (it's NEVER too early to start working on Christmas presents, right?) Moda Origins jellyroll is calling to me... thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThat gorgeous spiral of fabric is almost too much to handle!
ReplyDeleteI'd make a quilt for my bff & my godson (her son). They're beautiful people & I've been slacking on my christmas present making.
love this roll of fabrics
ReplyDeletebut I could also do the quilt-along with my wonderland jelly roll and keep the quilt for myself, ;o)))
I would make it for the whole family to use.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I would be nice a make it as a gift, but that drool-worthy fabric says me, me, me!
ReplyDeleteI'm making for my beautiful daughter who's off to uni next month
ReplyDeleteGill
Love this fabric!!
How awesome! I think the quilt will end up as a present to my family. Our poor sofa has been begging for a new blanket.
ReplyDeleteLindsay.forgette(at)gmail(dot)com
They look great! I'm behind, but I have to make a couple baby quilts.
ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure yet, I've narrowed the fabric choice to three rolls so I guess once I pick one, I can make a choice. :)
ReplyDeletei might just have to hold onto this quilt!! i like to keep one for myself every now and then!
ReplyDeleteI would keep this quilt for my daughter. She is 3 and it would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteFor Mom's new couch, maybe by her birthday, or Christmas.
ReplyDeletei'm thinking a family quilt. the groove line would be perfect for all 5 of us to snuggle under in the fall! if i don't win (sniff, sniff), i'd use joel dewberry's latest.
ReplyDeleteThese prints are totally my style so I think for once I'd be selfish and make something for ME! Probably some sort of couch quilt for me & the Mr.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make a quilt for myself. It's my first ever! I'm still undecided on the fabric, but I was planning on using Japanese prints - I love them!
ReplyDeleteI have the determination! to make a quilt for my 5 year old nephew, who lives in NZ ...he is a groovy little guy who is in need of some pops of bright colour and funky little patterns....I was thinking about perhaps using castle peeps?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog! I've only just found you and I really enjoyed reading your posts and viewing your beautiful quilts. I've added you to my RSS reader. I think I might join your Quiltalong it looks like fun. I think I'll probably give the quilt away as a baby quilt as there are few babies about to put in an appearance.
ReplyDeleteLove the Groove line! It would be a perfect fabric collection for my SIL.
ReplyDeleteI would probably make several small crib size quilts to give away to SHARE or a women's shelter. Sadly no Grandchildren yet.
ReplyDeleteOooh--How fun! It'd definitely be a keeper quilt. =)
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt for my "adopted daughter"--a student who did an internship with me at work and stole my heart. She will graduate from pharmacy school in May and just got married this summer, so I would like make her something special. If I don't win, I will use fabric from my stash. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter who just went to college. I'd put it on her bed when she comes home to visit. That way we both can enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win. I was going to start with a pure jelly roll i just brought with nice blues/browns.
ReplyDeletePatty
The hubster has been hinting (LOUDLY) that it's time I made him a quilt to snuggle under in front of the family room TV... so if I can get my act together and source some fabric strips I think he'll be the lucky recipient :)
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt for my 4 year old daughter, but since I end up sleeping in her bed with her most of the time, I guess it would be for me too!
ReplyDeleteMy quilt will be for either my son, or our living room ( which pretty much means it will be for my son). IF I don't win this amazing jelly roll I will be using a Kona Original jelly roll that is about to burn a hole in my dresser drawer!
ReplyDeleteIf I were to do the quilt along, I would probably donate my quilt to a colleague who runs an autism center. I keep telling him I'll donate a quilt for them to raffle off and raise money for his center. Haven't settled on a pattern yet, so this would get me going. stephiepeterson@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a yummy collection! If I don't win (sniff sniff) then I'll be using all the secret FQs I've been buying and stashing - am on a real purple, turquoise green and grey kick at the moment, judging by this week's buys ... mmmmm can't wait !!
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided who to give it to yet - I've never done a quiltalong so I may just keep it as a reminder of communal sewing over the ether ...
I would have to be a bit selfish and keep the quilt, it would only be my second!
ReplyDeleteI would like to join a quilt along to make a quilt for my niece. I have a stash of red prints that i will use if i do not win your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy quilt will probably go to someone in need through our church's quilt ministry. This is gorgeous fabric and would make some teenager or young person a great quilt to take their mind off their medical problems! If I don't win, I will probably work out of my 2 1/2 inch strip scrap bin!! Thanks for hosting the give-away and the quiltalong!!
ReplyDeleteI would make a quiltalong quilt for me - just to do something fun for a change.
ReplyDeleteI promised my sons preschool a quilt for Christmas, This would be perfect. I have no idea what fabric to use so I hope I win!
ReplyDeleteI would make this one for myself; woo!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first quilt along! And I would make this for my grandma, who is losing her vision and said "please make something bright and bold!" So GROOVE would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to do this quilt along. I have no idea what fabric I will use, but Groove seems just perfect. I think I will give it to hhmmmmmm, myself! I have never made myself one!
ReplyDeleteWell, Groove would be fabulous, of course, but if that doesn't come through for me, I have some untouched Frolic by Moda. Whatever I make will be given away but I'm not sure to whom. I have such a long list of people I want to make quilts for.
ReplyDeleteLove this fabric! I am planning on joining the quilt along, as it will make a fabulous quilt. I would love to use the Groovy fabric to make the quilt for my daughter and her family. They have a child who has autism and the colorful quilt would definitely be a soft, but bright, attraction for him. If I don't win the fabric, I may cut into some of my Denyse Schmidt fabrics and some Kona too. Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIf I win, I would for sure use the Groove fabric....so darling. But I am planning on making this quilt for my darling daughter's birthday and she loves Owls, so I am considering the "It's a Hoot" by Momo for Moda. Such cute and fun fabrics. I am getting back in to piecing quilts after a long hiatus of motherhood, so excited to be back and LOVE all the fun quilting blogs I have come across. So many fun fabrics. I would love to win:)
ReplyDeleteoooo...ahhh...
ReplyDeleteMy quilt-along quilt was going to be for my new nephew but if I win this beautiful baby it will def be for my daughter!
:)S
I think my 9, nearly 10, year old son would love a quilt in these colours. Yes, even the pink! He thinks hot pink and lime green are very cool together. I could live with a quilt made from that jelly roll on his bed, quite easily.
ReplyDeleteI'm using Mill House Inn to make a quilt for patients undergoing chemotherapy treatement at a local hospital as a thank you gift. If I was lucky enough to receive one of the jelly rolls then it would(eventually) become two.
ReplyDeletei haven't yet decided which fabrics i want to use - either a hello betty jelly roll or my katie jump rope fat quarter bundle... and i'm finally making one just for me! i'd be happy to make one with a groove jelly roll though ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to my first quilt along! Thanks for the chance to win! :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog yesterday and when I heard about the quilt along I was hooked!! If I win this jelly roll pack I will probably donate the quilt to our regional hospital where I have items that I make there on sale. All of my items are donated to the hospital and all the proceeds go back to the hospital and our local hospice center. This would be a great addition in the gift shop. Can't wait to start this project!!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is for me! LOL. I'm always sewing for other people. I'm planning to use scraps leftover from other projects, so it'll be a nice way to remind me of the people that I've sewn for in the past.
ReplyDeleteIf I win the Groove jelly roll the quilt will be for my daughter as she loves this range! In fact, the quilt will probably be for my daughter anyway - I love making quilts for her!
ReplyDeleteI have never made myself a real quilt, so I am selfishly keeping my quilt along quilt. Thank you for the chance at this great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is home from university and working overseas for the past 7 years (to go back to University) and has decided she wants to learn to quilt. I think this would be a great project to work on together. She may decide to keep it or perhaps donate it to my Guild's Community Projects. If we win the Kaufman jelly roll, it could be the start of my daughter's own quilting stash!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous fabric! I think my quilt will go to a pregnant friend. Don't know if the quilt will be for her or her baby - maybe I'll just let her decide!
ReplyDeleteI have coveted the Groove line since it came out. I hope I win. I plan to give the quilt to my son who has been asking me to make him a quilt for quite sometime. If I don't win, the fabric I plan to use is Circa 60.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to give mine to my sister for her baby. :-)
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteIT WILL BE FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER!
THANKS FOR SHARING!
jldouglas@wispwest.net
for my 4 year old daughter - she is a little quilt lover - which I am definitely encouraging!
ReplyDeleteI've been itching to try a quilt-a-long and this would be a great one to do! I'm going to give the quilt to my sister who just got her first "big girl" job and is now out on her own! I love celebrating life's milestones with quilts!
ReplyDeleteLet's see, who doesn't have a quilt yet? Hmmm, oh, yeah, me!
ReplyDeleteI would give my quilt along to my mom. She would love it!
ReplyDeletei want to make a quilt for the living room for when the weather gets a bit chilly. i love the feel of a pebbled quilt. love love the giveaway. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI will be donating my small quilts (adapting the pattern) to woman's shelters in my area. I have done this for awhile through my local quilt guild.
ReplyDeleteIf I win, the new one will be more colourful than my usual shirting.
Love that line! I think this would make awesome quilts for the grandkids. Thanks for a great giveaway!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's going into the "for my future grandchildren" drawer.
ReplyDeleteMy 1st quilt along! If I win Groove, the quilt will be for my new little neice, if not I'll use Bliss & keep it for me!
ReplyDeleteI've not done a quilt along. This may be the nudge I need! The fabrics would be great for a quilt for my nephew. I have two graduating from High School this year that I need to make quilts for.... :)
ReplyDeleteSandy A
Might just keep it for myself! In the last year I have made quilts for 3 graduations, one birthday and a wedding!
ReplyDeleteokay, okay, I'll play! I wasn't going to, but then I found a Hunky Dory jelly roll on sale so I caved. It all depends on which fabric I end up winning (power of positive thinking) as to who the quilt will go to, but we do need a family picnic quilt, so that's option 1.
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh yes please!!
ReplyDeleteHi John, I would love to join your quiltalong with this beautiful fabric. My quilt would be for my great niece who just graduated from high school. She needs a quilty hug to take with her to college. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy quilt will more than likely be a Christmas gift for someone in my family, but I'm not sure who yet. If I don't win, I will use a Rural Jardin jelly roll. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know about your fantastic giveaway from your newsletter. The colours are mad so I can only think of one person who would really understand what it's all about and that is my oldest niece who is studying design and architecture at uni. This is her thing!
ReplyDeletelovely fabrics. Could be a quilt for my MIL....
ReplyDeleteMy quilt will be for my 5 yr olds bed. :) Nothing like a mama made quilt to snuggle instead of jumping into mama's bed, well at least I hope it works out this way :)
ReplyDeletepam_cutting@hotmail.com
I would love to make a quilt for my little niece. Unfortunately living in 2 different countries I get to see very little of her, so it would be very nice to make her something special so she can feel her aunt near no matter how far I'm away.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great give-away!
I LOVE the Groove fabric! Anything with bright colors makes me happy! If I don't win this fabric, then I would use either my jelly roll of Botany or Eden. If I use Botany, I'll probably be selfish and want to keep it for me. :) If I decide to use Eden, I'll probably give it to one of my nieces. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to commit until I see the finished piece! Probably for myself because I still don't have one of my quilts!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! What a great prize--thanks for the chance to win. I am planning on making a quilt for my niece in utero out of a "Hello Betty" jelly roll. I can't wait to join the fun!

Lovely JR!!! I will be making the quilt along quilt for my daughter, using FQ-bundle with a Christmas Design. I was going to make it for her last year, but didn't get to it. This will be a great opporunity!
ReplyDeleteI would love the win the fabric. I would use it to give to someone else that I normally wouldn't give to. Like the gal at our Chick-fil-A that is kind to everyone one she meets.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that fabric! My quilt will be for my best friend's firstborn ... who is arriving this October!
ReplyDeleteLove this delicious fabric! Win or lose, I will give my quilt-along quilt to my lovely friend Jo El who is so very generous in everything she does.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, not sure who this quilt will go to - maybe my grandma? She's made me a couple of quilts, I should probably return the favor! :)
ReplyDeleteSWEET! Thanks for the chance! For the quilt-along my daughter and I are making a princess quilt for the baby of the family. Love the fabric
ReplyDeleteI'll be quilting along to make a quilt for couch snuggling. And I'll be using Hope Valley and Kona solids. If I don't win that is :)

ReplyDeleteI am using a jelly roll by Moda called Freebird. I haven't decide who I will make this quilt for - I would like to see it completed before I decide - sometimes you need to see how it looks. It will probably be for someone in my family.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one of these Groove Jelly Rolls. I have no idea what to use. I am at a standstill. I will probably keep the quilt for myself. Take care and God bless, Cory
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I'm going to give the quilt to either my mom or my dad for Christmas, it will depend what it feels like as I work on it. And I'll be using Martinique by Moda.
ReplyDeleteA quilt for my neice unless the finished quilt chooses someone else. I plan to use a mix of FQ's from my stash.
ReplyDeleteI would say it would be for me, but I know the cats have other ideas...
